This question relates to the CCP's victory in 1949 and the failure of the GMD. If this interests you as it does me, do you think their victory was more because the GMD was too weak or was it because they were too strong a party to be defeated by any party as strong as the GMD?
Your help in evaluating this question would be very much appreciated.
