Dear Sir,
I am a fourteen year old student from King Edward VI Grammar School and I have started my GCSE course in resistant materials; technology. I am required to undertake a major piece of coursework. My project is to design and manufacture a chessboard/table.
As part of the research phase, I am gathering information on chessboard tables. Of course, I will need design ideas and that will entail finding out various pieces of information such as the base sizes of the chess pieces, the actual size of chessboards, possible finishes, and the various designs currently on the market.
I understand that your company/you manufacture/design chessboards. I shall be most grateful if you will send me any information on this subject and preferably a catalogue containing some of your designs; this would be highly appreciated. I await your reply.
