Hey there Priya,
I am going to fill you in. The Hmong people lived in what is now called China along time ago even before the Chinese. Hmong had there own king, but the Hmong king lost the last battle to the Chinese. The Hmong were forced out of their homeland. The Hmong people couldn't get away from the Chinese. Many hundred of thousand Hmongs' were killed and only a few escaped. The Hmong went to live in Thailand and Laos. In the late 1960 the Vietnam war was fought. The Hmong became the serect army of the American, but the American backed out so the Hmong lost their home again. Till this day Hmong people still have no land or home to live and call their own. They now live all over the world and may never get to see each other again until they have a place to call home. Hmong are unique people with custom, culture and tradition. They respect and honor each other. Hmong people are one of the most understanding people in the world since they support and help each other in the time of needs. They only thing is that they don't have a country, but they have a very strong leader to guide them back home. This is all that I can remember I hope that it helps if you would like to know more free to ask. I hope that it has helped you to understand more of Hmong people and who they stand for.
