Can anyone point me to a basic "how to use" instruction for using an abacus? And what is the Chinese word for abacus? (in Pinyin, please). I remember in my youth (about the time when Sunzi was still an active general) reading that a skilled abacus user could out-perform someone with a calculator. Don't know if that's still true.
