one cup of black glutinous rice ( add more if u wish to ) : )

Two tbspoon black sesame

1/2 cup black bean

1/3 cup brown sugar.

Bring rice and black bean to boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 1 hr, add sesame, turn it to low heat, cover and let it simmer for approx 2 more hrs until everything gets tender.

Add brown sugar just 15 mins before you turn the heat off.

Note: Black beans require about 2 hrs in simmering water to soften. Be sure to check them before add brown sugar.

All the ingredients are available in asian supermarket.

This is a traditional chinese desert and its simple enough for u start with..
