: I am working on a paper about the average chinese person nowadays and have a few questions that I was hoping you could help me with.

: 1. What are important holidays and how is each observed?
New Year- giving lucky money, visting relatives
Moon Festival- moon watching and eating moon cakes.
Mid Autumn Festival- dragon boat racing, eating stuffed rice dumplings.

: 2. What is the attitude towards drinking and gambling?
Most Chinese consider drinking and gambling bad, but a lot
of people still do them.

: 3. How are public sanitation and garbage dealt with?
Don't know.

: 4. What foods and actions are considered a taboo?
Giving clocks a birthday present.
The Chinese word clock rhymes with the word end,
which means death!
