Did you ever get any replies to your message about goldfish? I have been thinking about doing an MA in Fine Art next year, and have noticed how often the fish motif appears in art of all types across all cultures. I have been considering investigating the importance of the fish as a symbol and/or the psychological relationship between fish and man. i would be interested to know how far you got in your studies.
