I ordered some jade chopstick from Yutopian (very speedy service) and I managed to break one pair of stick after only having them out of the box for less than a minute. My own stupid fault, and after Yutopian packaged tham so nicely too.

Anyway, the point of this posting to to say that it appears that superglue DOES work agreeably with jade.
Once I find out how to remove the exess without hurting the chopsticks, I'll be all set
