Lobster in House Supreme Sauce- This restaurant serves live seafood that are brought to the table for customers to select before the cook prepare them. One of the best lobster dishes the author has tasted in the US (price: seasonal).
Fried Crab w/ Ginger and Green Onion- A must for crab lovers (price seasonal).
Steamed Fresh Fish- There is no other way to enjoy fresh fish than steaming them the Cantonese way! (price: seasonal)
Fried Pawns w/ Walnuts in Honey Sauce- A absolutely pleasant dish mixing the tender texture of prawns w/ the crispy texture of walnut; the slight saltiness of prawns and the sweetness of the honey sauce. (price: $14.95)

Fried Won Ton- Fried wontons are often considered as non-authentic Chinese food. The author was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these wontons. A must for fried food lovers! (price: $4.50)
House Special Chow Mein- The Hong Kong style noodle serves sizzling ingredients over crispy noodles. (price: $6.25).
B.B.Q. Pork Fried Rice- The Young (Yang) Chow Fried Rice is equally as good (price: $5.25).
Tan Chai Porridge- Sam Woo's porridge dishes are often of high quality. Tan Chai which means Sampan, is actually a seafood dish (price: $4.25)

Comments: Sam Woo is a chain-restaurant with consistent standard of dishes served. It's a great place if you want inexpensive Chinese food. You can easily locate one near your home. They have branches in Chinatown and Monterey Park.
