The 24th most common last name in China. Zhou Cheng Wang awarded descendents of Bo Yi as the dukes of Shen. Zhou Li Wang married duke Shen's daughter and gave birth to Zhou Xuan Wang. Zhou Xuan awarded the land of Xie (south of Tang He in HeNan Province) to his mother's family, the dukes of Shen. (Xie means thanks).
