East Beijing Church (1655 A.D.) Located on the east of Ba Liancao, outside the Dongan City Gate is the East Beijing Church. The church was first built by Luigi Buglio (1606-1682 A..D.), and was known as the St. Joseph church. The building of the church is of Roman style with many Christian paintings inside.
