    Zhuge Liang

Zhuge Liang (or Zhuge Kongming), a native of Long Xie Yang Du, made his home at Long Zhong. Touched by the sincerity of Liu Bei, who paid three visits to him, Zhuge Liang agreed to assist Liu in his plan to unify China. In the thirteen year of Jian An, Cao sent his army southward to Jing Zhou. Liu Bei escaped to Xia Kou. Zhuge urged Liu to join forces with Sun Quan against Cao Cao. Liu sent Zhuge to the Wu Kingdom to convince Sun Quan. The two eventually defeated Cao in the Battle of the Red Cliff (Chibi). After Liu proclaimed king, he made Zhuge his Prime Minister. In the third year of Zhang Wu, Liu died in Yonh An Gong. Before he died, he urged Zhuge to assist his son. During his fifth attack to the north, Zhuge passed away at Wu Zhang Yuan at the age of 54.
